After witnessing a host of activities, the Shiba Inu ecosystem has posted another update related to its innovative Shib Name Service (SNS) initiative. Lucie, a key player in the Shiba Inu marketing team, recently shared this exciting update to the Shib community through X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. Associated with this announcement was D3 Global’s declaration regarding the new update. Shiba Inu has chosen to collaborate with D3 Global in establishing a decentralized top-level domain (TLD) for Shiba Inu users, under the TLD name “.shib.”
D3 Global made the process easier by offering a platform, where Shiba Inu connoisseurs can register in advance for their exclusive .shib names, potentially able to be resolved via the global Domain Name System (DNS). The announcement encouraged the ShibArmy to prep for the acquisition of a SHIB Name Token to secure their official, interoperable digital identity. For early access, Shiba Inu holders need to pre-register on the D3 platform, verify their email, and bookmark available .shib names.
Lucie, the Lead Marketer, has shed light on a few upcoming offerings for SHIB set to take 2024 by storm. A series of disclosures on X, a social media platform, mentioned soon-to-be-out features like Play-to-Earn (P2E) games, Shibahub, and Sheboshis among the notable launches for the approaching year. The highlight of these announcements was the ongoing development of the Shib Metaverse. Lucie added that the team’s focus is to elevate Shibarium to the top five blockchains in the crypto arena. However, she did not specify when these changes would be flagged off, emphasizing that the launch will occur “when it is all ready, as development never ends.”
