Tesla recently shared a celebratory video commemorating the achievements of Giga Berlin in 2023. This video was posted on the social media platform ‘X’, previously known as Twitter, by the official account of Tesla Manufacturing. The video highlights the dedicated employees from different departments, some of whom shared their experiences of working in the electric vehicle factory. The consensus among the Giga Berlin’s team was that working in the factory is rewarding and providing enough motivation could lead to individuals scaling great heights.
The video showcased the positive energy and camaraderie within the Giga Berlin team, with employees praising their colleagues and infrastructure facilities provided by Tesla, such as a dedicated train line. Despite the factory often being at the center of opposition from local environmental groups, Giga Berlin has achieved commendable milestones. It managed to hit a production rate of approximately 5,000 Model Y per week in March, just a year after dispatching its first vehicle. Highlighting also that Giga Berlin boasts Tesla’s most advanced paint shop, offering unique paint colors for Model Ys – Quicksilver and Midnight Cherry Red. It suggests, despite criticism, Giga Berlin is committed to the well-being of its employees providing numerous perks and fun amenities.
