Judge Kaplan addressed the jury during the preliminary proceedings, managing their expectations regarding the trial’s duration and expressing his commitment to expediting proceedings whenever possible. The final verdict will ultimately be in the hands of the jury, who will consider the facts presented and apply the law to determine Bankman-Fried’s guilt or innocence.
