Ethereum, a chief name in the blockchain world, is on the brink of a major evolution with its slated “Pectra” upgrade, expected to make its debut by the end of the first quarter of 2025. Central to this update is the implementation of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Object Format (EOF), which will incorporate about 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs).
