Ripple, the prominent American fintech entity recently declared its plans to strengthen its global team. The company showcased its intention of expanding into key international markets, looking to recruit for significant positions, specifically in London, Bangalore and Toronto. The positions that Ripple seeks include a Senior Product Manager in DeFi for their London location, a Senior Software Engineer for Bangalore and a similar role in Toronto. This marks the expansion of Ripple’s team with a diverse recruitment in a host of international cities.
Of note, is that last September, Ripple had also initiated a massive recruitment drive that aimed to add 55 people to its teams. This included a range of areas including Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Global Operations, IT, Legal, Marketing, and more. Additionally, the company showed interest in hiring a Shareholder Communications Senior Manager, an action speculated by some to be a preparatory move for an IPO launch. Despite these speculations, Ripple’s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse clarified that public listing is not an immediate priority for the company. Ripple’s expansion drive is especially interesting to observe, given that it is set to face a trial against the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in a few months’ time.
