DLRC, a prominent coin auction house, is launching a sophisticated new weekly auction event that will start in February and conclude every Thursday evening. Named the Red Carpet Rarities Auctions, these events will embrace a rigorous selection of 100 coins each week. The coins in question will comprise notable collections, registry-grade coins, key dates, and many other essential numismatic items. The Red Carpet Rarities Auctions will kick off on Thursday, February 22nd, and subsequent ones will continue to close on a weekly basis on Thursdays.
The first four of these exclusive Red Carpet Rarities Auctions will display the Helen’s Quarter Collection, a comprehensive collection of U.S. Quarters spanning from 1796 to 1964. This collection was initiated in the late 1990s when the collector received a jar of old silver quarters from his mother-in-law, Helen. As the collector’s expertise grew and the quality of the collection improved, he began attending major shows to expand and enhance the collection. Now, the collector has chosen to auction his coins via DLRC’s new Red Carpet Rarities Auctions upon entering semi-retirement. The opening part of this grand collection will close on Thursday, February 22nd, with the subsequent three parts closing on the following Thursdays.
