Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer behind SHIB, forecasts this shift to transform the digital world. Evidently, this vision of ‘invading the internet’ is the heart of the Shibdentity initiative. Hence, Kusama envisions the .shib domain as an all-encompassing tool, empowering users to host a range of online content, manage digital communications, and streamline transactions, all under their Shib Name. Pre-registration for Shib Name is currently open, offering individuals a chance to reserve their unique identifiers before the formal rollout, effectively securing their digital identity ahead of time.
