California-based chipmaker Nvidia’s CEO announced plans to broaden the company’s collaboration with premier tech establishments in Vietnam. The growth strategy will focus on working with the Southeast Asian nation to hone their abilities in creating artificial intelligence (AI) and digital infrastructure. Through this venture, Nvidia aims to bank upon and facilitate Vietnam’s burgeoning technology sector and digital transformation journey.
Nvidia’s engagement with Vietnam is not something new. The chipmaker has so far invested a whopping $250 million, cementing their presence and commitment in the country. The tech giant has been operating in collaboration with numerous top-tier tech companies in Vietnam, implementing AI across various sectors like cloud computing, automotive, and healthcare industries. This information was shared in a document issued by the White House in September. The announcement was made when Washington was in the process of enhancing diplomatic ties with Vietnam – portraying the crucial role of tech collaborations in geopolitics.
