Crypto analyst, Dave the Wave, has recently made a highly bullish prediction about Bitcoin, the eminent cryptocurrency. According to his calculations and technical analysis, he suggests the price of Bitcoin could potentially rise to a staggering $200,000. He further shared a timeline predicting when this value might be achieved
In a post on his X platform, Dave the Wave used a chart to project that Bitcoin’s value could reach $200,000 by December 1, 2025. He also mentioned the Bitcoin moving average convergence divergence (MACD) indicator appearing very optimistic. Moreover, he hinted at another possible scenario wherein Bitcoin could hit $200,000 a year earlier than predicted, around December 1, 2024. This, he theorizes, could occur when the majority of people start expecting this price level.
He underscored his prediction by recalling his previous forecast where he stated that Bitcoin could set a new all-time high price before the end of the year. According to that chart, he claimed that the Bitcoin price could reach $69,000 this year. Far from abandoning this prediction, he recently displayed an updated chart implying that Bitcoin could still achieve this predicted value before 2024.
The recent surge of Bitcoin price above $41,000 has stirred excitement within the crypto community, with many believing that this is just the beginning of another upward trend for the cryptocurrency. This rally is partially associated with the expected approval of a Spot Bitcoin ETF. Other investors are attributing the rise in Bitcoin’s value to the upcoming Bitcoin Halving. Regardless of the driving factors, it is clear that a significant volume of investors are currently flocking to the crypto market, with Bitcoin claiming the lion’s share.
