Registration is now open for the Build-A-Bull global virtual hackathon organized by the Algorand Foundation. With a total of $200,000 in prizes, the hackathon will run from October 18 to November 15, 2023. The event aims to create consumer-friendly applications using the advanced capabilities of the Algorand blockchain. It offers developers and entrepreneurs the opportunity to accelerate their business concepts, receive mentorship and support, and present their final products to a panel of expert judges.
The hackathon features five tracks: Defi presented by Circle, Gaming presented by Unity, Consumer presented by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Interoperability presented by Wormhole, and Impact presented by the Algorand Foundation. The winners of each track will receive $25,000 and will have the chance to pitch to investors on a demo day. An additional grand prize of $10,000 and $25,000 in AWS credits will be determined through a public on-chain vote. The judging panel includes industry leaders and investors, and projects will be evaluated based on various criteria such as team strength, project design, pitch quality, and market viability.
