Former FTX CEO Harmed in Jail

Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is allegedly facing difficulties during his stay at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), according to Jeremy Lorenzo, also known as “Poops.” Lorenzo revealed that Bankman-Fried had computer code confiscated, suggesting that he may have been engaging in coding activities on paper. Additionally, Lorenzo claimed that Bankman-Fried may have been moved from the MDC due to being extorted and physically harmed daily. These reports align with previous statements about the challenges Bankman-Fried has encountered in prison.

Lorenzo also mentioned that Bankman-Fried had experienced harassment from fellow inmates and encountered problems with correctional officers. It is worth noting that conducting business from prison is not allowed, which may explain why the papers with potential computer code were confiscated. However, Bankman-Fried’s defense team has not officially commented on these claims. They are currently seeking his release from jail for other reasons, such as his inability to review discovery documents on a provided laptop due to poor internet connection at the MDC.

The circumstances surrounding Bankman-Fried’s time in jail continue to raise concerns about his safety and well-being.
