Last updated on August 8, 2023

According to a recent report, Brazil, China, and Colombia experienced significant earnings growth of more than 20% in the second quarter. This surge in earnings helped to offset a considerable 28% decline in the United States. The positive performance in these emerging markets played a crucial role in mitigating the negative impact of a marketing fiasco related to Bud Light’s Transgender campaign in the U.S.

Brazil, as one of the largest economies in South America, saw notable growth in its financial indicators. China, being a major global player, also witnessed substantial earnings growth during this period. Furthermore, Colombia, an emerging market in Latin America, experienced a significant boost in earnings as well.

These positive financial results in Brazil, China, and Colombia provide a glimmer of hope amid the economic challenges faced by the global business landscape. The resilience shown by these emerging markets showcases their potential for growth and stability, even in the face of adverse conditions.
