Sam Bankman-Fried, a 31-year-old crypto entrepreneur, has been granted freedom on a personal recognizance bond of $250 million since his extradition from the Bahamas to New York. Bankman-Fried is currently facing charges and his lawyers are pushing for him to remain out of jail, citing concerns of witness tampering and speculative innuendo without sufficient evidence. The defense team argues that there is a lack of concrete facts to support the prosecution’s claims.
